J.M. Social and Service Club

JM Social and Service Club has been dedicated to giving back to the San Carlos community for over 80 years. We are a group of like-minded individuals who strive to make a positive difference in our community. Boy Scouts USA

Mahany Hall is home to Scouts USA Troop 321, Pack 65 and Pack 153. We strive to uphold and promote the mission of the Boy Scouts of America. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all of our scouts, and to teach them important values such as respect, responsibility, and self-reliance. Our scouts are taught a wide array of skills, such as outdoor survival, first aid, STEM, and leadership. We focus on creating an environment in which our scouts can grow and thrive.

San Carlos Lions Club

The San Carlos Lions Club is a vibrant and active chapter of Lions Clubs International. We are committed to making a positive difference in our community and in the lives of those in need. Our club offers many opportunities for members to be involved in meaningful service projects, social activities, and leadership development. We are proud to be part of a larger network of service organizations that are dedicated to helping those in need and making a lasting impact in our community. American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is dedicated to providing relief and comfort to those in need. We are the go-to source for emergency shelters and centers during times of disaster or crisis. Our teams are trained and experienced in providing essential services such as food, clothing, shelter, and emotional support to those affected. We are proud to be an American Red Cross Emergency Shelter/Center and to serve our community during times of need.

Local Government

The San Mateo County Department of Elections is committed to providing a secure, accessible, and reliable election process. We strive to ensure that every eligible voter in San Mateo County is able to exercise their right to vote. In 2024, we will once again use Mahany Hall in San Carlos as a polling place, making it easier for local voters to cast their ballots.
