Welcome to those who have come for worship.  Let us join in prayer, meditation and service. Please join our coffee hour following worship service.  For written prayer requests, use the Prayer Request Card located in the pews.  Nursery care is provided for those from birth–3 years and others who may need it. Sunday School is available for children 4-12 years old.  Sunday School leaves after “Children’s Time.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Kalavaria Mahany Hall Kitchen Project

On Saturday 4/12/08 Kalavaria Ref. UCC began degreasing the walls and floors of the kitchen.  After completion, they determined that heavier duty degreasing is required before painting.  They returned the following Saturday 4/19 and completed the project.  We thank Kalavaria for their generosity in undertaking this big project.

 

The Green Team

Our church has a small group meeting to figure out ways in which we as individuals or as an organization can contribute ways to make our planet greener.  We have discussed ways to recycle, reduce and incorporate into our daily lives ways to become better stewards of our Mother Earth.  We hope to include our findings in future issues of the Communicator.TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

 

May 13th Women’s Fellowship

A Norwegian folk dance group will be performing for the Women’s Fellowship on Tuesday May 13th, 11:00 a.m. in the Parlor.  Do join us!  Bring a bag lunch.  Dessert and beverage will be provided for $2.00.

 

Boy Scouts Troop 321 Offer

After reading in the May issue of the Communicator about the Trustees’ consideration of doing something on the unlandscaped area next to Harmony yogurt shop, LuAnn McGuigan, on behalf of Boy Scout Troop 321, suggested that this would be an ideal project for the Scouts to earn their eagle points.

 

Kalavaria Ref. UCC and Chalice are away this Sunday.
